Fishing in the Canterbury and North Canterbury backcountry lakes and
rivers is approximately 80 kms from the staring point at Kaiapoi (near Christchurch)
heading west into the Southern Alps. I 1/2 hours drive away
into the best Trout and Salmon fishing areas in the South Island and perhaps even
New Zealand, we reckon.
